Hi! I’m Ryan and I’m a wedding professional. I’ve grown up “in the business.” My parents began a small catering company over twenty five years ago that I’ve been a part of for as long as I can remember. Over the course of these years, I had many opportunities to work in their business and to learn the ins and outs of what it takes to be in the weddings and special events industry. I’ve mopped floors. I’ve cooked meals. I’ve designed wedding cakes. I’ve done payroll. I’ve coordinated weddings. I’ve made flower that’s what marketing is all about…peoplearrangements. I have built websites. I have kind of done a physics homework help online little of everything…and my favorite by far, has been marketing and I have done a lot of marketing. I worked my way through college, receiving a degree in International Business and then through grad school to get my MBA. I immediately sought to apply the things I learned to my parents’ business and we have found great success. Why do I love marketing so much? I think it’s because I love people and that’s what marketing is all about…people and finding fun and creative ways to abstract diction examples communicate with them, to influence them, to understand them, and to serve them.
I think I bring a unique perspective to marketing to brides…over the years I have had countless opportunities to really get to know this unique and highly targeted market. I’ve had a lot of practice finding out what works and what doesn’t. I’ve helped my parents build their company into the largest off-premise catering company in the Memphis area. We average over 115 weddings a year, a number that has skyrocketed since I took the marketing reins. We have experienced quite a bit of growth on the corporate side as well with an increase in sales of over 20% during the last few years, despite the recession. What are the keys to this success? There are a lot! That’s why I started this blog…to share the things that I have learned and the things I know will help other businesses be successful.
